One of the most striking stories about pit bull attacks is the one involving "Rocky," the pit bull that brutally attacked its owner and his family in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, in July 2018. Bleeding heavily from the savage attack by his own dog, the pitbull owner told the police, "That dog, he's been good forever. And thank you for killing him." Pit bulls, when they kill, usually kill their owner, the owner's children, or the owner's parents. (Pit Bull Facts and Figures, by Kenneth Phillips.) If you want a dog, get a dog. Man's best friend. Not the animal that would kill the man, his children or his parents.
